Digital Sail 2012
Digital Sail from Econsultancy is now in its third year for a day of digital 'piracy' on a glorious day on the Solent. The aims of Digital Sail aren't lofty — just to get together the key buyers, providers, movers and shakers of the digital marketing and e-commerce industries to have some fun, meet each other and race each other round the Solent. You can either sponsor a boat for the day and bring along up to 10 of you in the team or you can just book individual places and come along to network and join others in a mixed team. Alternatively, if you have your own boat (and can bring it to Portsmouth for the races) then you are welcome to bring it along too. Pictures from previous Digital Sail events

JUMP 2012 New York
JUMP is a one-day conference for senior marketers looking to join up on and offline campaigns, data, technologies, agencies, creative and knowledge. If the last decade was all about figuring out digital, the next is about integrating it, dissolving it into the marketing mix and finding new hybrid strategies that combine on and offline. JUMP brings together hundreds of online and offline and marketers to not just learn to speak the same language, but to create a forum to share data, insights, experiences, strategies and successes. JUMP is a fast-moving, content-rich symposium packed with exciting new insight from top marketers across every industry wanting to learn ... and share ... how to join up online and offline.
Future of Digital Marketing 2012
The next will be the now in about 18 months.  Digital marketing moves faster than any other market on earth. That makes peering into the future a kind of mission-critical activity. But by ‘the future’ we don’t mean five years away – that would be ridiculous.  We mean the next 12-18 months. A timescale you can do something about; a timescale you can build into your plans. The Future of Digital Marketing (FODM), now in its 7th year, is the only place all year where senior digital marketers (client-side and agency) can do three things: Get a quick, concentrated dose of insight into what’s around the corner Compare notes with the most ambitious, innovative and interesting marketers in the game. Get a potent shot of adrenalin to take back to the office. In just one day, learn about the future of digital marketing from those leading the way. Get inside the minds of expert practitioners and leading thinkers to find out what needs to be in your development plans if you're to be amongst the best. Think of it as Europe’s mini SXSW – but for digital marketers only. Served up in three big chunks: The Art of the Now It’s shaping your world right now – but you may not have noticed yet. The Art of the Next Looking to the next 12-18 months – disruptions that could turn your plans upside down. The 7x7 Series Seven seven-minute sessions on topics you need to know about – by the people leading the change. Give us a day, we’ll give you a new perspective on your day job. With a healthy wallop of ideas, inspiration and energy to bring back to the fray. The Bottom Line: miss FODM and you won’t know what hit you.

Innovation Awards 2012 Ceremony
Digital Marketing Glory! Econsultancy’s fourth annual Innovation Awards in association with Adobe Digital Marketing, were expanded to encompass more entries, enhanced categories as well as a glittering awards ceremony. The winners were announced at the Innovative Awards Ceremony in London at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel on 23 February 2012.  Over 500 attendees from brands, suppliers and agencies were decked out in their finest to discover who would receive global recognition for genuine innovation and success in digital marketing. To make the night itself reflect the theme of innovation, we dispensed with the traditional comedian and, instead, commissioned an original piece of dance and music from the founders of Boy Blue Entertainment, one of the leading duos on the street dance and hip hop scene. Not just any dance piece, we filmed the routine and fused it with innovative 3D Holographic Projection technology, Musion, to create stunning effects that wowed the audience. The night was a huge success and we’d like to thank everyone who entered and congratulations once again to all those who triumphed… For queries about the Innovation Awards 2013, please contact awards[at]econsultancy.com or call +44 (0)20 7269 1450

Now in its Sixth year, Digital Ski is the online marketing industry's very own not for profit social/networking event on the slopes each year. With just 35 places, the event provides a great opportunity (er, excuse?) to go away with clients, colleagues, contacts and friends for a few busy/relaxing/drunken/productive/active (delete as you see fit) days in France. Accommodation is situated within Courchevel 1850 in great ski-in, ski-out location. Courchevel 1850 is the highest of the Courchevel stations and benefits from a number of superb runs back into resort. The skiing is superlative with north-facing homeward slopes, high altitude and snow cannons providing a virtual guarantee of good snow all season. Beginners and Intermediates Courchevel is the perfect resort for beginners, with dedicated "ZEN" areas that are affectively designated, fenced off nursery slopes. The best place for beginners tends to be the Pralong and Le Bellecote slopes with a number of green runs available. Intermediates will be spoilt for choice with a huge range of easy blue and varying red runs in Courchevel Valley, the largest valley in the ski area. Courchevel 1850 is really well linked with Courchevel 1650, Courchevel 1550 and La Tania, the links to La Tania are particularly well suited to intermediates with picturesque, tranquil blue runs right down to the resort. Advanced and Off Piste Courchevel has a lot to offer advanced and off piste skiers with some of the best black runs in the Trois Vallees, choose from the famous challenging 'grand couloirs' from the top of Saulire or the vast off-piste areas and heart-pumping moguls around Chanrossa chair lift. Don't forget though there are over 600km of piste throughout the Trois Vallees and as an expert or an off piste skier you'll find some magnificent itineraries and routes to challenge you.
M-commerce Innovation Briefing
The aim of this briefing is to provide digital marketers, both Client and Agency side, with insight into the variety of applications for M-commerce. Using a range of case studies we will look at the creative use of mobile technology to support E-commerce in B2C and B2B markets.   With the rise in usage of smart devices and the inevitable excitement with the latest tablet playthings, marketers face the challenge of understanding the relevance of M-commerce to their business. Whilst we will discuss the role of technology, the focus of this session is to look at the marketing potential rather than digging into development implications in great detail.   As well as discussing the current implications and applications of M-commerce, we will take a peek at what’s next and where mobile marketing is going. The goal is to leave you with a clear picture of what M-commerce means in 2011 and beyond.
