Q: What kind of deals will @earlybird retweet?
A: We're trying to focus on offers that are compelling and interesting to our users. Our users are diverse and we want the @earlybird account to be able to cater to a wide variety of interests including (but not limited to) movies, travel, fashion, technology, music and more!
Q: What does an @earlybird Exclusive Offer look like?
A: Just like a regular Tweet!
• 140 characters or less• You should also include a link to a checkout page that clearly describes the terms of the offer• Your checkout page should make it as easy as possible for users to transact with your offer• You might also include a hash tag• As with any other Tweet, your offer should be timely and engaging
Q: What about the checkout page? If someone goes to the url without going to Twitter is that still allowed?
A: You will host the deal on your checkout page, linked through from your offer tweet. We would like to have some copy/a graphic on the checkout page that shows that the offer was marketed through Twitter. If someone finds the url without Twitter, that's still allowed because the deal is promoted on Twitter.
Q: What is the process to launch an @earlybird offer?
A: Here's how it works:
We work with you to approve and announce a Twitter-exclusive deal.
You tweet the deal including a link to the checkout page from your account.
The Twitter @earlybird account retweets your offer to its followers. The account may also share pertinent information about the deal over the course of the deal.
Your offer is redeemed by consumers both within and beyond your brand's existing followers.

Unable to Delete Tweets (Known Issue)

Are you having trouble deleting your tweets?
If you deleted a tweet, but it reappears in your Timeline or Homepage, what you are experiencing is a known issue.
The problem seems to occur even for tweets that have been deleted more than once. Deleting a tweet a second or third time should remove the tweet from your timeline. You may also see the same problem occur when deleting from your mobile phone.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We've escalated this issue to our engineers and we will have a fix soon.

O usuário poderá ter sua conta suspensa por violação às Condições gerais se comprovado qualquer um das hipóteses acima mencionadas. Did you upgrade to the new version of our Twitter for iPhone 3.0.1 app and are you unable to open it? Does the app load for few seconds without showing any buttons or icons and just displays a white screen?

What's Phishing?

How To Remove Your Account From Twitter for iPhone

Can't find a "logout" or "signout" button on Twitter for iPhone?
That's because there isn't one! Still want to remove your account information from the app? Fair enough, here's the simple 5-step process to remove your account:
1. Tap the "More" tab in the lower left corner.
2. Tap "Accounts & Settings"
3. Tap the "Edit" button
4. Tap the red minus sign next to your account name
5. Tap the "Remove" button.
That's it! Your account has now been removed! Keep in mind that if you want to "sign in" again you'll need to re-add your account to the app.
I'm not receiving text message updates for @replies

A number of users are not receiving SMS updates of @replies for accounts they follow.
Example of normal behavior: @bob follows two accounts (@keerthi and @charles) and has device updates activated for both accounts. If @keerthi replies to @charles, then @bob would receive that tweet on his mobile device via text message.
If you believe that you are experiencing this issue first verify that you have completed adding your phone to your account and have mobile updates turned on.
If you have verified your mobile and account settings, and are receiving normal tweets via text but are missing @replies then please leave a comment below.

If you have used the app at one point but no longer want to be found in this way, you will need to go to http://apps.facebook.com/twitter and disconnect your Twitter and Facebook accounts. What happens to Tweets I’ve deleted? Tweets deleted from Twitter will not be removed from Facebook (since they have a different system to identify Facebook posts). You will need to manually log into your Facebook account and delete these posts from your Wall. Rest assured, however, that when you delete a Tweet, it is removed from all places related to Twitter, such as Twitter Search, applications, and of course, your timeline on Twitter.com. Alle Links, die durch unseren Link-Service umgewandelt sind, wurden gegen eine Liste von potentiell gefährlichen Webseiten geprüft. Falls ein Link mit einem auf der Liste übereinstimmt, erhält der Benutzer eine Warnanzeige, bevor er weitermachen kann.
Unser Link-Service kann auch Daten messen, beispielsweise, wie oft der Link angeklickt wurde. In der nahen Zukunft wird Twitter diese Daten mit unserem Resonanzalgorithmus benutzen: So können wir heraufinden, ob ein Tweet interessant und von Bedeutung ist.
Wie funktioniert der Link-Service?
Zurzeit gehen alle Links in den E-Mail Benachrichtigungen bei Direktnachrichten durch unseren Link-Service und werden in http://t.co Links umgewandelt. ¿Tienes una cuenta protegida?
Si estás recibiendo notificaciones de nuevos seguidores a través de email, pero la página aparece vacía cuando vas a http://twitter.com/friend_requests, lo que te está pasando es un problema conocido.
Asimismo, si después de haber solicitado a seguir una cuenta protegida, no ves nada en la página, esto es parte del mismo problema.

Unable to remove Saved Searches?
Some users have reported issues when trying remove Saved Searches from their accounts. This bug only occurs when there are 'no results' generated by the Saved Search and causes the 'Remove this saved search' to not appear on the results page.

Having troubles deactivating your account ?
First of all, you might want to make sure you are following the right steps to deactivate your account. This article should help you in the process: http://help.twitter.com/forums/10711/entries/15358
If after having followed these steps, you're seeing an error page and your account still appears to be active after having clicked on the "home" link, what you are experiencing is a known issue.

I Can't Confirm My Account!

Some users are reporting that they're having difficulty confirming their email addresses. Read on to learn how to confirm your email address so you can use Twitter without seeing warning messages like the ones below: Are you receiving emails from Twitter with a link to confirm your account?If so, try these steps to confirm your email address:
Make sure the email is less than 24 hours old (the link in the email expires after 24 hours, as a security measure - but you can always resend a new confirmation by clicking the 'resend confirmation' link in twitter.com)
Make sure you're logged into the Twitter account listed in the email we sent you (the username is specified in the email)
Make sure you've set your Timezone appropriately in your Account Settings (some users report that the confirmation does not take unless this setting has been updated.)
Click the long link in the email or cut and paste it into your browser window. It should look something like this:

You're done!
I've changed my email multiple times and don't see those messages pictured above when I log in.You can always check your email's confirmation status and resend the confirmation emails from your Settings page. Just click the 'resend confirmation' link!
